Who we are and how to reach us
Adorable operates this service. Contact adorable@studiopoly.ai for privacy questions or requests to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your information. If we need to verify a request, we will ask only for information needed to handle it.
What stays on your iPhone
Journal text, photos, mood, energy and sleep inputs, drafts, tasks, focus records, and coping notes stay in the app’s storage on your iPhone. The current app does not send this content to Adorable’s servers or an AI service.
The primary journal store, sign-in information, and Ink data are marked for exclusion from device backups. If you enable “Include journal in device backups,” the app prepares a separate recovery copy of entries, photos, drafts, and tasks for device backup. This copy excludes Ink wallets and sign-in information and follows your iCloud or computer device backup settings and protection. Its preparation time does not confirm a completed device backup. Reinstalling the app alone does not restore the journal, and live sync between devices is not provided. You may also export a JSON file; Adorable does not separately encrypt exported files.
The app imports only photos you choose with the system picker. Adding a calendar event opens Apple’s calendar editor so you can choose what to save. The app does not collect your existing calendar events.
Turning this option off or deleting personal records removes the relevant recovery copy on this device. Manage and delete existing iCloud or computer backups and exported files at their respective locations.
What an account needs
If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple identifiers, an app account ID, and authentication tokens are processed to create, verify, and maintain your account. If Apple supplies an email address, the authentication provider may also process your real address or a private relay address. The app does not separately request permission to receive your name or email.
An Ink account uses journal dates, random reflection-access IDs, a time zone, monthly free-use counts, Ink balances, and transaction status. These are linked to your account to provide access, check balances, avoid duplicate charges, and recover interrupted requests. Journal text and photos are not included in payment requests.
If you make a purchase, Apple and RevenueCat process product IDs, purchase, renewal and refund history, account identifiers, and Ink balances. This supports purchase validation, crediting Ink, restoration, fraud prevention, and purchase reporting. Adorable does not receive your card number or bank account details.
Service providers and international processing
Supabase provides account authentication and stores Ink access information. The current app database is in Seoul, South Korea. Service operations and security may also involve Supabase and its subprocessors in their operating locations.
RevenueCat processes account identifiers, purchase information, and Ink data in the United States. Apple provides sign-in and App Store payments. Necessary information is sent over encrypted connections when you request account access, an Ink allowance, or a purchase.
Connecting an account is a choice. Account-based Ink features and purchases require this processing. Reading, exporting, and deleting journal entries already on your device do not cost Ink.
Email support and this website
When you email us, we use your sender address and the information you choose to include to respond and provide follow-up help. You can ask us to access or delete that correspondence at the same address.
Vercel hosts the support website. Delivering and protecting these pages can involve connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser information. We have not added advertising cookies, behavioral analytics scripts, or advertising pixels to the site.
How long information stays
Local records remain until you remove them or delete the app. Server account and Ink access information is kept while we provide your account, with cleanup beginning when an account deletion request is accepted.
An Apple revocation token needed for deletion is temporarily stored in encrypted form and removed after revocation is confirmed. After deletion, an account-unlinked confirmation value and completion status remain for up to 90 days so you can check the result.
Support correspondence and security logs are kept as needed to answer requests, protect the service, and resolve failures. Provider log and backup retention cycles can mean operational data is not removed immediately. Information that must be retained by law is kept within that obligation; you can ask us to explain a retention requirement.
Your choices and rights
You can export or delete local records and start account deletion from You in the app. Saving and purchases pause while a deletion request is being confirmed. Account deletion is separate from canceling an Apple subscription.
Email us to request access, correction, deletion, or restrictions on processing. This notice does not limit privacy rights available where you live. We do not sell your personal information for advertising or combine it with activity from other apps to target ads.
Adults and future changes
Adorable is designed for adults. It does not diagnose health conditions or turn journal content into treatment conclusions.
We update the date on this notice when information practices or features change. Material changes affecting your choices will be explained in the app before you use the affected feature.
