Moving or recovering your journal
Go to You → Your words, your control → Export my journal to save a file. Exporting never costs Ink.
Entries, photos, and drafts are stored on this iPhone. Sign in with Apple connects your Ink account; it does not sync your journal. In You → Protect and restore your journal, you can prepare a copy for device backups. Check actual backup status in iPhone Settings. You can also export a separate copy before deleting the app. Exported files are not encrypted, so choose a safe location.
How free saves and Ink work
Each month includes 7 different journal dates and 1 new reflection. After that, opening another journal date costs 3 Ink, and saving a new reflection costs 10 Ink. Adding more to a date you’ve already opened does not cost more. Reading saved entries is always free.
When purchases are available, Apple shows the final price before you buy. Internal test builds and builds with purchases turned off do not sell Ink.
A save or balance check is taking a while
Your draft stays on this device. If you see “Check save status,” reconnect and tap it. Adorable checks the original request before attempting another charge.
If a purchase result is unclear, use “Refresh balance” first. If you still need help, email us the approximate time and the message on screen. Keep the app and its local records until your save has been confirmed.
Canceling a subscription or requesting a refund
Manage renewals in your Apple subscription settings. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Refunds are requested through Apple and are subject to Apple’s process and applicable consumer protections.
Deleting records or your account
To remove local records, go to You → Delete all personal records. If you have connected an account, “Delete account” on the same screen also removes your Ink account. You can export first.
Once received, account deletion usually takes about 15 minutes. Service interruptions can make it take longer. You can close the app while it runs. Unused Ink is removed with your account. Copies on other devices or in exported files need to be deleted separately.
Support for everyday life
Adorable is a journal and daily-life tool for adults. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency response. Notification timing depends on your iPhone settings and device state.
